केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू

राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह 2017

प्रतिवेदन

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में 14 नवम्बर से 20 नवम्बर 2017 तक हर वर्ष की भांती इस वर्ष भी प्राचार्य श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी के मार्गदर्शन में राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय सप्ताह मनाया गया।

नवीं ब की छात्रा योगेश्वरी ने किताबों पर आधारित कविता का पाठ कर कार्यक्रम का आरंभ किया तथा ग्यारहवीं द के छात्र नि खिल पाटीदार ने राष्ट्रीय पुस्तकालय दिवस तथा सप्ताह की महत्ता पर प्रकाश डाला। साथ ही सप्ताह भर 14 नवम्बर से 20 नवम्बर तक कराई जाने वाली गतिविधियों / क्रियाकलापों की जानकारी भी दी। अंत में पढ़ो इसलिए नामक कविता भी प्रस्तुत की गयी।

सप्ताह के दूसरे दिन 15.11.2017 को बुकमार्क तथा पोस्टर बनाने की प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। दिनांक 16.11.2017 को कविता लेखन, 17.11.2017 को पुस्तक पाठन, 18.11.2017 को पुस्तक लेखन प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया।

सप्ताह के अंत में 20.11.2017 को खोलो किताबें रहो आगे-आगे नृत्य नाटिका का मंचन प्रार्थना सभा में किया गया जिसमें किताबों की महत्ता पर प्रकाश डाला गया। सभी कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन ग्रंथपाल श्रीमती अनिता कुशवाह के नेत्रत्व में किया गया।



केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू

बाल दिवस (14 नवम्बर 2017)

प्रतिवेदन

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू के तत्वाधान में 14 नवम्बर 2017 को स्व. पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू के जन्मदिवस को बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम के प्रारम्भ में प्रभारी प्राचार्य डॉ. (श्रीमती) अर्चना शर्मा, प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती इसियास एवं सुश्री झंझा चक्रवर्ती द्वारा  पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण तथा दीप प्रज्जवलन किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का प्रारम्भ प्रार्थना सभा के पश्चात किया गया। मंच संचालन कुमारी रिया अधिकारी, आठवीं  ‘स’ द्वारा किया गया। सर्वप्रथम कक्षा सातवीं ‘ब’ के विद्यार्थी  मा. देवेंद्र एवं कुमारी भाग्यश्री द्वारा पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू के जीवन पर प्रकाश डाला गया। तत्पश्चात सातवीं ‘अ’ की कुमारी सौम्या द्वारा एक सुंदर, सुरीला गीत प्रस्तुत किया गया जो स्नेहमयी माँ से संबन्धित था। सातवीं ‘अ’ एवं ‘ब’ के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा समूह नृत्य ‘स्कूल चलें हम’ की प्रस्तुति सर्व शिक्षा अभियान से संबन्धित था एवं कक्षा आठवीं ‘ब’ तथा सातवीं ‘स’ के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा जोकरों की वेषभूषा में ‘बम बम बोले’ नृत्य की जीवंत प्रस्तुति ने विद्यालय का मन मोह लिया। नृत्य का निर्देशन सामाजिक विज्ञान शिक्षिका श्रीमती अर्पणा पुणेकर द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम में प्रायमरी के विद्यार्थियों को गुब्बारे एवं टाफी वितरित की गई।

 

कार्यक्रम के अंत में प्रभारी प्राचार्य डॉ. (श्रीमती) अर्चना शर्मा द्वारा विद्यार्थियों को शुभकामनायें दी गई। कार्यक्रम को सुचारु रूप से चलाने में विद्यालय के सभी शिक्षकों ने अपना योगदान दिया।

National Education Day 2017

Report

In Kendriya Vidyalaya Mhow, National Education day was celebrated on 10th November 2017 due to second saturday holiday on 11th November, by Reader’s Club.

Nine members of Reader’s Club presented a special program in Morning assembly under the direction of Mrs. Anita Kushwaha, TGT (Lib.) and Incharge of Reader’s Club.

The program began with a speech delivered on National Education Day and a short biography including motivational life incident of our fermer Education Minister Mr. Abul Kalam Azaad. At the last of the program a inspiring youth song was presented by the members.

 

A Debate Competition was also organized in Library Media Centre, K.V.Mhow on topic ‘Indian Education System’ which was judged by Ms. Jhanjha Chakravarty, PGT (English) and Mrs. Anita Kushwaha, TGT (Lib.). The winners were Ku. Manisha X C and Ku. Bhagyashree VII B as winner of ‘for’ and ‘against the motion’ respectively.

Bharat Scouts & Guides

Foundation Day Celebration

A Brief Report

Foundation day of BS&G was celebrated in our Vidyalaya.

Programme started with Flag Break Ceremony. Cubs and Bulbuls have presented Cub greetings, Bulbul song, Ghera Geet etc. Scouts & Guides have completed their Flag Break Ceremony themselves.

Mr. Ashish Dubey, SM, has delivered lecture on Foundation of BS&G and explained Law & Promise effectively for the betterment of Scouts & Guides. Dr. Rajni Pawar, GC has explained ‘Scouting in India’ and Handicraft. Mr. J.S. Surela has shown Knotting and explained importance of Knotting & Cashing and First Aid.

Foundation Day Flags/ Stickers have been distributed among the Scouts & Guides. Scout Songs have been presented by Cubs & Bulbuls.


 

Vigilance Awareness Week 2017

A Report

In accordance with letter no. F.14059/42-1/2017-KVS(BPL)15737-805 dated 22.09.2016, Kendriya Vidyalaya Mhow observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017. On the opening day detailed information about the significance of observing the week was give to the staff and students by Dr. Harish Kesharwani, PGT Geography. In his talk he explained to the students the terms such as 'Vigilance', 'Awareness', 'integrity', 'transparency in economic matters' etc. He elucidated how the sanctity of means is as important as the accomplishment of goals. Through examples drawn from the real life scenario he gave the message of molding an integrity of character to make the country corruption free. Placards on the key terms were displayed by the students during his talk. This was followed by administration of the Integrity Pledge to the employees by the CCA Incharge of the Vidyalaya Miss Jhanjha Chakravarty, PGT English.

On 31st of October the students of class IX C, in their morning assembly presented a skit on how common folk need to be extra vigilant while purchasing commodities from the shopkeepers. The skit generated awareness in the audience to demand a proper receipt of items purchased. At the end of the day a slogan writing competition on ‘Saying ‘NO’ to corruption and staying vigilant’ was organized for all the houses.

On 1st of November there was a street play presented by the Integrity Club of the Vidyalaya on the theme of ‘Vigilance & Awareness’. Participation of all the members was ensured. An Integrity Pledge was also administered to all the students.

On 2nd of November the Readers’ Club of the Vidyalaya gave an informative presentation on ‘Consumer Protection Act’. The presentation was substantiated with placards and slogans.

On 3rd of November the students of Primary section put up a Musical Act on ‘Jaago Grahak Jaago’. In rhyming couplets the kids shed light on how we must be aware of our rights, conscientious of our duties and vigilant so that nobody deceives or dupes us. It was much appreciated by all.

On 4th of November an Essay Writing Competition was scheduled for all the employees. The staff members were asked to write an Essay on the topic 'My vision - Corruption free India' in 1000 words either in Hindi or English.

 

Moreover, all the staff members were directed to take the Integrity E-pledge in order to show their support and solidarity with the government endeavor to materialize a corruption free India through a comprehensive programme of observing the Vigilance Awareness Week.

 


 

Teacher’s Day Celebration at KV MHOW

A Report

Teachers’s Day was celebrated with great pomp and show at Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW on 5th September 2017. The Principal with the School Captains garlanded the portrait of Dr Radhakrishnan

The assembly programme was presented by Class VIII C where a detailed biography on the former President Dr Savrpalli Radhakrishnan was read out by Riya Adhikari. She also recited a self composed poem on the role of teachers in a student’s life.

Thereafter a competition was organized for the student- teachers of Class XII. They had each been given a teacher-student pair to speak on for two to three minutes. Suhani Dubey who spoke on ‘Aristotle- Alexander’ was adjudge the winner followed by runners up  Ritika ( Ramakant Achrekar- Sachin Tendulkar) and Pragya Dwivedi ( Dronacharya- Arjun).

A short cultural programme was also organized. All Social Science Exhibition Cluster and Regional level position holders presented their performances on the stage as a tribute to the relentless grooming and mentoring of the teachers of the vidyalaya. The performances included Mohd. Laraib’s Kawali, Palak’s Kathak Dance, Shruti Tiwari’s poem on women empowerment ‘ The Phenomenal Woman’, Meenakshi Sharma’s Hindi Debat ‘ The social media has affected the lives of people’, Jesna Mol Joy’s English Debate ‘ Demonitisation is a boost for the Indian economy’ and the Manipuri Group Dance.

A felicitation programme for the Class X and XII teachers who secured 100 % result for the vidyalaya with a PI above 100% was also organized. The Principal did the honours of presenting the Certificates issued by the Regional office to all the teachers. A special honour was given to DR Mohan Padria, PGT History of the Vidyaya, who will be the proud recipient of the KVS National Incentive Award this year.

The Principal in her address dwelled on the importance of the teachers in shaping the lives of tender children and in shaping the future of the country. She also read out the Teacher’s Day messages of the revered Commissioner of KVS Shri Santosh Kumar Mall and the honourable Prime Minister of the nation Shri Narendra Modi.

With a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Mohan Padria, the program e concluded. The student teachers then went to the classes allotted to them to get a hands-on experience of teaching in classrooms.

In all the day was a great success.

All students had been motivated to make voluntary donation for the National Trust of Teacher’ Welfare. The amount collected will soon be forwarded in the form of draft.

Thus the Teacher’s Day was celebrated in a befitting manner in the vidyalaya.

 


 

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू

राष्ट्रीय एकता शिविर- (एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत)

प्रतिवेदन

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय संगठन भोपाल संभाग द्वारा आयोजित संकुल स्तरीय उपरोक्त प्रतियोगिता में केन्द्रीय विद्यालय उज्जैन, नीमच, मंदसौर, रतलाम, झाबुआ, बरवानी, महू, इंदौर क्रमांक 1 एवं 2, धार ने भाग लिया इसमे राज्य मणिपुर पर आधारित प्रदर्शिनी, समूह गीत, समूह नृत्य, एकल गीत, एकल नृत्य, नाटक, वाद-विवाद (हिन्दी व अंग्रेजी), काव्य पाठ (हिन्दी व संस्कृत) प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन उज्जैन में हुआ इसमे केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू से अंग्रेजी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता में निखिल पटीदार(पक्ष में) तथा कु. जेसना (विपक्ष में) प्रथम रहे एवं कु. पलक पांचाल एकल नृत्य में प्रथम, प्रदर्शिनी में कु. कार्तिकी जाट प्रथम, एकल गीत में लारेब तृतीय तथा कु. मीनाक्षी हिन्दी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता में तृतीय, समूह नृत्य में द्वितीय, नाटक में द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त कर महू ओवर ऑल विजेयता रहा। इसमें चयनित छात्र रीज़नल लेवल प्रतियोगिता ग्वालियर में होने के बाद मणिपुर राज्य की संस्कृति, भाषा एवं पर्यटन को समझने के लिए मणिपुर की यात्रा पर जाएगे। इस 50 सदस्यीय दल के प्रमुख डॉ. मोहन पडरिया थे। इस सफलता पर विद्यालय की प्राचार्य श्रीमती किरण अवस्थी ने दल को बधाई दी।

 


 

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू

आज़ादी सप्ताह समारोह

प्रतिवेदन

आज़ादी के 70 वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में 8 से 15 अगस्त तक आज़ादी सप्ताह मनाया गया जिसके अंतर्गत विद्यालय में प्रश्नोत्तरी, चित्रकला, निबंध लेखन, नारा लेखन प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की गयी। विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान पर रहे विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया। बच्चों एवं विद्यालय के समस्त शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाओं ने भारत को स्वच्छ बनाए रखने के लिए संकल्प भी लिया। स्वतन्त्रता दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में विद्यालय में विभिन्न प्रकार के सान्स्क्रतिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए।

स्वतन्त्रता दिवस समारोह

प्रतिवेदन

दिनांक 15 अगस्त 2017 को केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में स्वतन्त्रता दिवस समारोह मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि ब्रिगेडियर श्री राजेश नेगी जी, अध्यक्ष, विद्यालय प्रबंध समिति थे तथा कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता प्राचार्य श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी जी ने की।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत मुख्य अतिथि ने झण्डा वंदन से की। इसके पश्चात राष्ट्रगान हुआ। राष्ट्रगान के पश्चात अतिथियों व विद्यार्थियों ने अपना स्थान ग्रहण किया।

कार्यक्रम के अगले सोपान में देशभक्ति गीत, नृत्य, भाषण एवं कविता विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत की गई। सुश्री झंझा चक्रवर्ती एवं श्री आशीष दुबे ने कुशल मंच संचालन से कार्यक्रम को ओज व गति प्रदान की।

कार्यक्रम का अगला सोपान पुरस्कार वितरण था, जिसमें सत्र 2015-16 व 2016-17 में दसवीं व बारहवीं में प्रथम आने वाले विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया।

कार्यक्रम को आगे बढ़ाते हुए प्राचार्य श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी जी ने सत्र 2017-18 के लिए गठित विद्यार्थी प्रतिनिधि मण्डल को अनुशासन व कर्तव्य निष्ठा की शपथ दिलाई। इसके पश्चात सभी सदन प्रतिनिधियों को ध्वज सौंपे गए एवं शिक्षक सदन प्रभारियों ने उन्हे बेजेस लगाए। विद्यालय प्रतिनिधि मा. शिवांग शर्मा तथा कु. सोनाली चावड़ा को प्राचार्य तथा मुख्य अतिथि ने बेजेस लगाए।

कार्यक्रम का महत्वपूर्ण सोपान था मुख्य अतिथि ब्रिगेडियर श्री राजेश नेगी जी का भाषण, जिससे उन्होने विद्यार्थियों मे उत्साह व देशभक्ति की भावना का संचार किया।

 

कार्यक्रम के अंतिम सोपान में श्रीमती अर्चना शर्मा ने सभी का आभार माना तथा मिठाई वितरण के पश्चात गरिमामय कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 2017

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 21 जून 2017 को बहुत भव्य रूप में मनाया गया।

प्रातः कालीन सभा में विद्यार्थियों द्वारा योग के महत्व पर विशेष कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया गया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि योग गुरु श्री प्रदीप दुबे रहे जो पिछले 10 वर्षों से सेना की इकाई से जुड़े हैं और शूटर्स तैयार करते हैं। मुख्य अतिथि महोदय ने योग को शरीर में सामंजस्य स्थापित करने की क्रिया बताया। उन्होनें विभिन्न आसनों का हमारे शरीर और मन पर होने वाले प्रभाव की चर्चा की और विद्यार्थियों के लिए योग को अध्ययन हेतु एकाग्रता बढ़ाने में सहायक बताया।

विद्यालय के खेल विभाग द्वारा संगीतमय ढंग से योगासन करके दिखाये गए। मधुर ध्वनि में मंच पर विद्यार्थियों ने अलग-अलग पिरामिड बनाए जिसे अत्यंत सराहा गया।

तत्पश्चात विद्यालय के योग प्रशिक्षक ने अपने निर्देशन में सभी विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों को योगाभ्यास करवाया। विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती डी. ई. इस्यास और प्राचार्या श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी ने भी सभी के साथ पहले सूर्य नमस्कार और फिर अन्य आसन किए।

इस प्रण के साथ कि सभी योग को अपने जीवन का हिस्सा बनाएँगे ताकि वे शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से स्वस्थ्य और ऊर्जापूर्ण रह सकें, विद्यालय में योग दिवस सफलता पूर्वक मनाया गया।

पृथ्वी दिवस 2017

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में दिनांक 22/04/2017 को प्रधानाध्यापिका महोदया के मार्गदर्शन में पृथ्वी दिवस का आयोजन धूमधाम से किया गया |

सर्वप्रथम टी.जी.टी. श्रीमती अर्पणा पुणेकर द्वारा निर्देशित नृत्य नाटिका पृथ्वी का मंचन किया गया, जिसके गीत आओ रे आओ रे पृथ्वी बचाओ रे ने सभी को प्रभावित किया। नाटिका कक्षा सातवीं स रमन सदन द्वारा प्रस्तुत की गई। तत्पश्चात पी.जी.टी. (भूगोल) डॉ. हरीश केशरवानी ने पृथ्वी की समस्याओं पर अपने विचारों को प्रभावी ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया।

कक्षा छठवीं के विध्यार्थियों द्वारा पृथ्वी बचाओ नाटक प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिसका निर्देशन प्राथमिक शिक्षकों श्रीमती एस. बेस्टियन, श्रीमती दीपा एवं श्री दिनेश पटेल द्वारा किया गया। कक्षा दसवीं की छात्रा डिंपल ने पृथ्वी पर एक कहानी को रोचक ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया। कक्षा बारहवीं की छात्रा सुहानी ने पृथ्वी दिवस के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।

तत्पश्चात एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण एवं विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन विद्यालय में किया गया, जिसके अंतर्गत प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती डी. ई. इसयास एवं पी. जी. टी. (जीवविज्ञान) श्रीमती एफ. फ़्रेंकलिन ने विद्यालय के सफ़ाई कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यालय के पर्यावरण को हरा-भरा रखने वाले माली श्री गममु भैया का सम्मान किया, तथा उन्हें मिठाई के पैकेट प्रदान किए, क्योंकि ये कर्मचारी वर्षभर विद्यालय के पर्यावरण को साफ स्वच्छ एवं हरा भरा रखने में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देते हैं।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन कक्षा बारहवीं के छात्र निखिल पाटीदार द्वारा किया गया। प्रधानाध्यापिका महोदया ने पृथ्वी की महत्ता पर अपने विचार रखे।

 

धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ. हरीश केशरवानी द्वारा किया गया। समूरना कार्यक्रम की प्रभारी श्रीमती एफ. फ़्रेंकलिन थीं। कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में विद्यालय के शिक्षकों का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा।

विश्व स्वास्थ्य दिवस 2017

प्रतिवेदन

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में 7 अप्रेल को विश्व स्वास्थ्य  दिवस के अवसर पर प्रार्थना सभा में कक्षा दसवीं ब के विध्यार्थियों ने डिप्रेशन ( अवसाद ) जैसे गंभीर विषय पर प्रस्तुति दी | स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता का संदेश देते हुए कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया गया |

कार्यक्रम का प्रारम्भ प्रस्तावना से किया गया था | तत्पशात डिप्रेशन जैसी मनोस्थिति से कैसे उभरा जा सकता है इसे चार्ट्स के माध्यम से समझाया गया तथा  यह भी समझाया गया कि इसे ठीक करने के लिए किसी चिकित्सक की ज़रूरत नही बल्कि अपनी दैनिक दिनचर्या में कुछ आसान बदलाव लाकर इसे ठीक किया जा सकता है |

National Science Day

A Report

Today on 28th February 2017 National Science day was celebrated in K.V.Mhow. The programme was started with garland the photo of Dr. C.V. Raman by Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal, K.V.Mhow with science teachers. The students of the Vidyalaya performed various activities like speech, facts on science, poem, biographies of various scientists, demonstration etc. From the teacher side Mrs. F. Franklin, PGT(Biology) given the speech on importance of science. At the last Principal of our Vidyalaya given the inspirational speech to the students.

A motivational session for board class students

A Report

With a view to help the class XII students to counter stress levels and to provide them the requisite drive and motivation to face the board examinations confidently, a counseling session was conducted in Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW on 25th of February 2017.

The session was conducted by Sri Jaswant Bisht, a freelance motivator and a renowned counselor. On special recommendation by Brig. Rajesh Negi, Chairman, VMC, K.V.MHOW, Sri Bisht presented a highly motivational session incorporating inspiring anecdotes of world’s successful failures – people who encountered set backs in life and overturned the tables to become world famous success stories. Sri Bisht also demonstrated the profound impact of meditation and the healing power of music on human psyche. The session also included valuable tips to board class students to help prepare well for the exams, counter anxiety during exams and extend their frontiers to attain excellence in the upcoming board exams. The students were full of praise for Sri Bisht and found the session not only inspiring but also empowering.

केंद्रीय विद्यालय महू में २२ फरवरी को भारत स्काउट गाइड के जनक लार्ड बेडेन पावेल का जन्म दिवस चिंतन दिवस के रूप में धूम धाम से मनाया गया I इस कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता डॉ मोहन पडरिया जी ने की. मुख्य अतिथि का अभिनन्दन विद्यालय के प्राथमिक शिक्षक दिनेश पटेल द्वारा स्कार्फ पहनाकर किया गया I स्काउट गाइड ने स्काउट प्रतिज्ञा एवं नियमों से सभी को अवगत करवाया I शारीरिक क्षमता का उच्चतम प्रमाण पिरामिड की प्रस्तुति के द्वारा दिया गया I प्रकृति की रक्षा हेतु समूह नृत्य की प्रस्तुति दी गई I प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के CASH LESS TRANSECTION की प्रस्तुति नाटक के माध्यम से स्काउट गाइड द्वारा दी गई I मुख्य अथिथि ने अपने भाषण में प्रत्येक भारतीय को इस आन्दोलन से जुडने का आह्वान किया I विद्यालय की गाइड शिक्षिका डॉ रजनी पवार ने मुख्य अतिथि का आभार व्यक्त किया I

Republic Day Celebration

A Report

 

K.V.MHOW celebrated Republic day on 26th of January 2017. The day commenced with the Flag Hoisting ceremony followed by the National Anthem. A short cultural programme with patriotic fervor was put up by the children of the Vidyalaya. The cultural programme began with marvelously synchronized Yoga drill presented on the tune of Ganesh Vandana. Mahin and Swati of class IX B appraised the gathering of the significance of this historic day. They dealt in detail with the historical aspect of the day, the celebrations at New Delhi and the proud achievement of KVS whose contingent got the opportunity to put up a performance before the Chief Guest, the Prime Minister and the President on ‘Tiranga Saakshi Hai’ . The stage came alive with patriotic group songs and dances presented by the Primary and Secondary students The officiating Principal Mrs. Nisha Acharya addressed the students and motivated the children to honour their duties and become responsible and worthy citizens of the nation. Dr. Mohan Padria proposed a Vote of thanks. The day ended with sweet distribution to the students and staff.

YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION

A REPORT

Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW celebrated the Youth Day on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12th January 2017.

The Readers’ Club of the Vidyalaya presented a short biographical sketch of Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a skit put up by the students from Classes V to IX of the Readers’ Club. In the skit Kartik of Class IX played the role of Vivekananda and gave the message of the power of youth. The skit highlighted how the young people of the country are divided between constructive and destructive activities. Through the inspiring address of the student actor portraying Swami Vivekananda it was explained that the youth ahs to channelize their energy into constructive force.

The Principal of the Vidyalaya Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, in her address to the students and staff reiterated that youth is not just the age, it refers to the zest and zeal of an individual, the will to serve willingness to give 100% to the service of the countrymen.

As physical fitness and mental alertness is an integral element of staying young, on the Youth Day there was a Yoga drill that the students and staff practiced. Pranayam, Brahmari and Taad asan were included in the drill. The Principal administered an oath to the staff and students where all pledged that they will dedicate their lives to the higher ideals of serving the nation.

 

In all the Youth Day was commemorated in a befitting manner in the Vidyalaya.

Annual Sports Day

A Report

Annual sports day was celebrated on 30-11-16 in which school students participated in many events such as 100 and 200 meter and relay race.

The gathering was started a week before the annual sports day to select the finalist to participate on the Annual Sports Day.

The meet was inaugurated by our Chief Guest Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal, K.V.Mhow. All the final races were done on the Annual Sports Day and rest of the students enjoyed the day and had lots of fun, spectators cheered their house representative for the team event (house wise event).

Prizes were distributed on the next day that is on 1-12-16. And the parents of students who represented the region in National Sports Meet 2016 were invited to do the honour of giving prizes to the winners.

CONSTITUTION DAY

REPORT

On 26th of November Constitution Day was celebrated in the vidyalaya. The Class on duty VII A presented a special programme wherein the students read out the Preamble of the Constitution and outlined the Fundamental Duties of Article 51 A of Indian Constitution. The meaning of ‘PREAMBLE’ and an inspiring quote by Dr B.R. Ambedkar was also presented. Dr Harish Kesharwani, PGT Geography of the vidyalaya addressed the students and staff and explained the rights and duties mentioned in our constitution. He emphasized the need to respect the tenets of the constitution in order to fully materialize India as a Republic.

QAUMI EKTA SAPTAH

REPORT

 

The Communal Harmony week was celebrated in the vidyalaya from 19th of November to 25th of November. On the 19th the special programme was on the birth anniversary of our former Prime minister Mrs Indira Gandhi. A biographical sketch on her was read out. During the week Dimpal of Class IX C delivered a speech on the significance of Quami Ekta and outlined its comprehensive reach namely national integration, secularism, linguistic harmony, development of weaker sections, women empowerment and conservation of environment. Students dressed up in varied cultural outfits presented programmes in morning assembly. Patriotic songs promoting Communal harmony were also presented that gave the message of the unity in diversity to the students. A written quiz was conducted for the students of class X. About 100 students participated in it. An Essay writing competition was also organized for class IX on the topic ‘Significance of our constitution in current times’. About 120 students participated in it.

National Education Day

A Report

The day was celebrated on 11.11.2016 in Morning Assembly. The programme began with flower tribute offered to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad by our Principal Mrs. Kiran Awasthi. A 4th class student spoke about the life and his contribution to the country.

 

In continuation of it an essay writing competition ‘Importance of Education’ and Slogan Writing Competition related to education was conducted in first two periods for VI to XI class students. A rally holding the placards related to ‘Importance of Education’ was also organized by the students of Primary Section. They went around in the School and Campus.

स्थापना दिवस - भारत स्काउट एवं गाइड

प्रतिवेदन

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में दिनांक 7 नवंबर 2016 को ’भारत स्काउट एवं गाइड’ का स्थापना दिवस मनाया गया। जिसमें स्काउट एवं गाइड के साथ-साथ कब और बुलबुल ने भी कार्यक्रमों में बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत में लार्ड बेडन पावेल के चित्र पर विद्यालय की प्राचार्या श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी ने माल्यार्पण किया। विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका ने भी विषेष अतिथि के रुप में माल्यार्पण किया। गाइड कीर्ति ने स्काउट गाइड के इतिहास के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी। स्काउट अथर्व ने स्काउट एवं गाइड के नियमों को दोहराया। स्काउट कुणाल ने स्काउट एवं गाइड की प्रतिज्ञा को दोहराया। छोटे-छोटे कब्स ने पिरामिड बनाकर सबका मन मोह लिया। बुलबल छात्राओं ने कार्यक्रम के अंत में स्वच्छता पर आधारित एक गीत की सुमधुर प्रस्तुति दी। अंत में कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि प्राचार्या श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी ने बच्चों को स्काउट एवं गाइड से जुड़ने और उनकी गतिविधियों को दैनिक जीवन में अपनाने की सलाह देकर सभी का मार्गदर्षन किया। कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन श्री नीरज कुमार सैनी, टी.जी.टी. संस्कृत ने किया।


 

 

OBSERVANCE OF THE VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK IN KV MHOW

A REPORT

 

With reference to the CBSE letter no. CBSE/RO(AJM)/VAW-2016/ dated 27.10.2016  Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW observed the Vigilance and Awareness Week from October 31 st to November 5, 2016, this year’s theme being ‘Promoting integrity and public participation in eradicating corruption’. The Principal administered the Vigilance Oath to all the teachers and other staff members of the vidyalaya.

In her address in the morning assembly, Principal Mrs Kiran Awasthi reiterated the need to be vigilant and free from the shackles of corruption in order to make the country truly progressive. She threw light on the two aspects of Vigilance- Preventive and Punitive and recommended the former. The Principal elucidated how the students can be vigilant in their own way to the happenings around them. She elaborated how people holding powerful positions in the society should behave in order to play a major role in combating corruption. ‘Being responsible trustees of the public money is a huge responsibility that can only be assured if the officials are conscientious and have integrity of character’, said Mrs Awasthi. She discussed the role Technology can play in bringing out transparency in dealings in the government offices.

During the week Dr. Mohan Padria, PGT History of the vidyalaya delivered a talk on the various sectors that witness the evil snares of corruption. He pointed out practical preventive measures that one can adopt to check the rampant corruption in our country. He explained the important ‘Consumer rights of India’ to the assembly of staff and students.

The school organized Poster Making Competition for the students of classes VI to VIII on the topic ‘Public Participation in eradicating corruption’.

The Citizen Pledge was also administered by the Principal during the week.

On 5th of November, a Hindi Debate Competition on the topic ‘Illiteracy: the mother of corruption’ was organized under CCA which was sponsored by the Union Bank of India, MHOW. Students of classes IX, X and XI took part in it. The debate sensitized the students about how our country was plagued by the vice of corruption and how a consolidated and vigilant approach of the citizens can help combat Corruption.

 

The programmes organized during the week were instrumental in sensitizing the staff and pupils towards anti corruption measures adopted by the government.

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में 24 अक्टूबर 2016 को संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ दिवस के अवसर पर प्रार्थना सभा में प्राचार्य श्रीमती किरन अवस्थी की उपस्थिती में कक्षा सातवीं के विध्यार्थियों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ के बारे में विशेष कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया | कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य छात्रछात्राओं को संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ से परिचित कराना था |

कार्यक्रम के प्रारम्भ में संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ के इतिहास से छात्रछात्राओं को परिचित कराया गया | तत्पश्चात संयुक्त राष्ट्र संगठन के सदस्य वर्ग, मुख्यालय, सम्मिलित भाषाएँ, उद्देश्य, मानव अधिकार के बारे में बताया गया | संयुक्त राष्ट्र संगठन के महिला संगठन से भी विध्यार्थियों को रूबरू कराया गया |

स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में दिनांक 01.09.16 से 15.09.16 तक स्वच्छता पखवाड़ा मनाया गया जिसकी दिनांकवार कार्यवाही निम्नानुसार है-

 

दिनांक 01.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में प्राचार्य ने स्वच्छता पखवाड़े के उद्देष्य को समझाया एवं इसी के साथ इसके महत्वको समझाया तथा षिक्षकों ने कम्युनिटी में जाकर पालकों को इसका महत्व समझाया एवं अंतिम कालांष में कक्षाओं की सफाई करवाई गई।

 

दिनांक 02.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में प्राचार्य एवं प्रभारी ने छात्रों को पाॅलीथीन का उपयोग न करना, कचरा डस्टबिन में डालने की आदत तथा पानी का अपव्यय, स्वच्छता के महत्व को बताया तथा अंतिम कालांष में अंतिम कालांष में विद्यालयीन क्षेत्र को साफ करवाया गया।

 

दिनांक 03.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में बच्चों को शौच के बाद एवं खाने से पहले हाथ एवं षरीर को साफ करने का तरीका विद्यालय में पदस्थ नर्स ने समझाया तथा विद्यालय की बाउंड्रीवाॅल के आस-पास अंतिम कालांष में सफाई करवाई गई।

 

दिनांक 06.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में प्राचार्य एवं नर्स ने षौचालय को ठीक से उपयोग करने एवं उसे मेंटेन रखने के तरीके को बताया एवं अंतिम कालांष में खेल के मैदान की सफाई करवाई गई।

 

दिनांक 07.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में प्राचार्य ने स्वच्छता संबंधी महत्वपूर्ण टिप्स दिए तथा अंतिम कालांष में प्राथमिक विभाग में नारा लेखन तथा पोस्टर मेक्रिग प्रतियोगिताएं करवाई गईं।

 

दिनांक 08.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में नारा लेखन एवं पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिताओं के परिणाम सुनाए गए तथा अंतिम कालांष में के.वि. महू स्टाफ क्वाटर्स क्षेत्र में सफाई करवाई गई।

 

दिनांक 09.09.16-स्वच्छताप्रभारी ने छात्रों को स्वच्छता को जीवन एवं दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाने संबंधी सुझाव दिए तथा अंतिम कालांष में विद्यालय क्षेत्र को साफ करवाया गया।

 

दिनांक 12.09.16-प्रातःकालीन सभा में स्वच्छता से संबंधी विषेष कार्यक्रम आयोजित करवाया गया तथा अंतिम कालांष में विद्यालय क्षेत्र की सफाई कराई गई।

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS

A REPORT

Teacher’s day was celebrated on 3rd of September  2016 in a befitting manner in the Vidyalaya. In the morning assembly after the garlanding of the portrait of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by the Principal, his biographical detail was read out by the class on duty.

The teachers were presented with cards and flower sticks. A chorus recitation of the poem ‘Where do all the teachers go’ was presented by Class VII students.

The students of Class XII put up a symposium on the topic ‘Inspiring anecdotes of teachers’.  World famous anecdotes of the teachers who have made an impact on the lives of renowned men and women around the globe, were read out. In the end the School Captain Shraddha Jain recited a poem on teachers that highlighted the nobility of teaching profession.

Some individual performances included Sanskrit Shlok recitation by Suhani and Sonali, Hindi Kavya Paath by Sneha and Riya Das and English Elocution by Riya Adhikari and Kartiki Jat.

A group Song on the glory of teachers, the nation builders, was also presented.

There was a felicitation programme for the Class XII teachers who produced 100% result with above 50 PI. The Principal gave certificates to the teachers.

The Principal read out the message of the Deputy Commissioner, RO Bhopal. She acknowledged the role of teachers in shaping young lives for the service of the nation. The messages of the Prime Minister, Minister of HRD, the Deputy Commissioner were given wide publicity by displaying them at various places in the Vidyalaya.

There was a discussion that was organized in Class XII by the subject teachers in the 4th period. Class wise topics given were ‘ Reasons behind declining academic interest in students’, ‘Expectations of students from teachers for procuring 100% result with quality’ and ‘ Suggestions for the New education Policy’. The discussion was highly interactive and the students took active part in it. The student-teachers thereafter went to the classes allotted to teach a topic of their interest

A volley ball match between the Class XII students and teachers was organized that was enjoyed by all.

 

The fund raised through the programme is being sent as contribution of the Vidyalaya towards the ‘ National foundation for Teachers’ Welfare’.

Language Week Celebration

A Report

In accordance with the directions issued vide letter no. F. 11029/ 10/2016/KVS(HQ)/ Acad, dated 16.08.2016, Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW celebrated 22nd August to 27th August  as Language Week. A number of activities were organized to promote communicative and linguistic skills in English and Hindi.

Kavya Paath in Hindi and Elocution in English were organized for the VI-VII and IX-XII students. The themes given for the competitions were National Integration, Youth empowerment, Women Empowerment and Folklore.

Quiz on English and Hindi Language was organized for the two groups. The questions incorporated both literature and grammatical segments.

There was a Story Telling Competition organized for both VI-VIII and IX-XII groups. The students were asked to narrate an interesting story with a moral lesson. They were evaluated on the subject of the story, style of narration and fluency.

Essay Writing competition was also organized in both English and Hindi for the two groups. The topic given for the Essay was ‘ Importance of English/ Hindi language in the current scenario’.

During the week in the morning assembly the Cluster level Winners in English and Hindi Debate also made impressive presentations.

On the concluding day, Group Songs in Hindi and English on the themes of ‘Language’, ‘Patriotism’ and ‘Devotional’ were presented by the Secondary and Senior Secondary groups.

 

Thus the Language Week was celebrated in a befitting manner in the vidyalaya and maximum participation of the students was ensured to provide optimum exposure to the students in both English and Hindi languages.

Celebrations of Freedom Fortnight at KV MHOW

A Report

In accordance with the directions issued vide Letter No. F.No.11029/64-1/2016-KVS(HQ)/Acad/Misc.Ministry/11610-11715 dated 02/08/2016, Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW celebrated 9th August  to 23rd August 2016  as Freedom Fortnight. A number of activities were organized to commemorate 70 years of Indian Independence.

The morning assembly special programmes during which included short skits and other presentations,  the week shed light on the historical details and significant contribution of the various freedom fighters and unsung heroes of the freedom struggle.

Children from Classes V to VIII made greeting cards for jawans posted at the border stations. 50 cards were made and sent to the nearest  APO for forwarding to the jawans.

Inter house Singing competition was organized during the fortnight both for Primary and Secondary Sections. Students from Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary sections sang patriotic songs that paid tribute to the freedom fighters.

A Freedom Run was organized for the Primary and Upper Primary students. The students ran with placards in their hands, promoting the fervour of patriotism.

On 15th of August a speech was delivered by a Senior Secondary student that recaptured the patriotic zeal of the first war of Indian Independence fought in 1857. The Principal, Mrs Kiran Awasthi too inspired the students to uphold the rich historic heritage of our nation by remembering the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and inculcating the feeling of service for the motherland.

A Class wise Painting and Slogan writing completion was organized in Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary section where each student had to compulsorily take part. The topic given for Painting Competition was ‘ Glorious History of India’. The best paintings and slogans were displayed at various display boards of the vidyalaya.

On the 23rd August a house wise Poem Recitation competition  for classes VI to VIII and English Elocution competition for classes IX to XII were organized. The theme for Poem Recitation was ‘ patriotism’ and the topic for Elocution was ‘ 70 years of Indian independence’.

 

At 11 a.m with the mass recitation of the National Anthem, the Freedom Fortnight celebrations drew to a close. Thus the fortnight ‘ Azadi 70- Yaad Karo Kurbani’ was commemorated in a befitting manner in the vidyalaya.

Sanskrit Week Celebration

REPORT

The Sanskrit week celebrated in the KV Mhow from 16th to 22nd August 2016 successfully. The Sanskrit week started with inauguration function by the Principal Mrs. Kiran Awasthi with Saraswati Pujan .Mr.N.K.Saini ,TGT(Sanskrit) presented the details of Programme. Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal KV Mhow motivated students for the participation in various activities of Sanskrit week.

The Sanksrit week includes various activities like Sanskrit Shlok recitation, Sanskrit Sukti writing, Sanskrit group song, Sanskrit story telling etc. with great enthusiasm students participated in all activities.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2016

 

Independence Day was celebrated in K.V.MHOW on 15th August 2016. The Principal of the Vidyalaya. Mrs. Kiran Awasthi presided over the function. The Tricolor was hoisted at 8:00 am followed by the National Anthem. The short cultural programme included  DANCE BY Primary Students, a patriotic Group Song by the senior girls and a Group Dance in patriotic fervor presented by the senior section students. Ku. Pragya Dwivedi of Class XI presented a speech in Hindi that recorded the historic significance of the day. Ku. Sonali Chawda from Class XI recited a poem in English “Saffron, Green, white and Blue” which paid tribute to the valiant patriots of the country. The Principal in her address inspired the youngsters to uphold the glory of the country by inculcating patriotic feelings, imbibing sense of responsibility, developing a sense of service for the motherland. With vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Mohan Padria, PGT (History) and sweet distribution the programme came to an end.

SOCIAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2016-17

The vidyalaya level Social Science Exhibition was organized in July wherein competitions like English Debate, Hindi Debate were organized. An exhibition of models, charts, albums, etc. was also put up to select the best exhibits.

 

At the Cluster level Social Science Exhibition held at KV Dewas, K.V. MHOW’s performance was commendable. In Hindi Debate Shraddha Jain stood first and Sonali Chawda stood third. In English Debate Shruti Tiwari and Kartiki Jat bagged first and second positions respectively. Nikhil Patidar from Class XI D was selected as the Explainer for the Regional level. Shruti and Shraddha were selected for the Regional level Hindi and English Debate. Many exhibits from the vidyalaya were also selected for the Regional level Social Science Exhibition to be held at KV Bairagarh.

REGIONAL SPORTS MEET 2016-17

FOOTBALL (BOYS) U-19

From-29.07.2016 To 31.07.2016

A REPORT

Kendriya Vidyalaya MHOW hosted the prestigious Regional Sports Meet Football (Boys) U-19. 19 teams registered themselves on the 28th of July 2016. In the evening a meeting of escorts and officials was convened by the Venue Principal Mrs. Kiran Awasthi. Among the officials who attended the meeting were Mr. Pillai, Mr. Shashi Yadav along with Mr. Abhijeet Bhatt, TGT PE, KV Khandwa deputed by the Regional Office for assisting in the organizing the tournament, Mrs. Babita Agrawal, TGT PE, KV MHOW and escorts were present in the meeting.

Inaugural ceremony was held on 29.07.16 at 9:00 am. Shri Abhijeet Bhatt, TGT P&HE of KV Khnadwa gave a brief overview of the tournament. After the ceremony the teams departed to different venues for their league matches. All league matches were successfully conducted on 29th and 30th July. All matches were successfully completed.

On the last day i.e. 31st of July 2016 in the Hard-Line match between K.V.NEEMUCH v/s K.V. PACHMARHI were conducted and K.V.NEEMUCH won the match. Final match between K.V.MHOW v/s K.V. BAIRAGARH was conducted in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Shrivastava, Assistant Commissioner, Bhopal Region. The Final Match was won by K.V. BAIRAGARH.

The Regional Sports Meet Football (BOYS) U-19 thus was successfully conducted by the Kendriya vidyalaya MHOW in an amiable atmosphere. This was made possible by the team of qualified officials and cooperation of all players and escort teachers. The arrangements of playground, boarding, lodging were found appropriate by the Officials and escort teachers.

In the Valediction ceremony, Mr. Sunil Shrivastava, Assistant Commissioner, KVS, RO, Bhopal in his address,  gave blessings to all the participants. He congratulated the winning team and wished them  further glory in the subsequent National level tournament.

प्रतिवेदन

 

दिनांक 28 जुलाई 2016 को विद्यालय मे विश्व पर्यावरण संरक्षण दिवस का आयोजन किया गया जिसमे विद्यालय के इको क्लब और स्काउट गाइड ने प्रार्थना सभा मे पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता और विशेष कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया तथा जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने और अपने पर्यावरण के संरक्षण के लिए संदेश दिया। प्राचार्य महोदय ने पर्यावरण के प्रति संवेदना और उसके संरक्षण के लिए छात्रों के बीच संदेश दिया। वर्तमान मे हो रहे पर्यावरण के नुकसान, वैश्विक ऊष्मण तथा जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रति सजग रहने का भी संदेश दिया।

प्रतिवेदन

विश्व जनसंख्या दिवस के उप्लक्ष्य में विद्यालया में जनसंख्या वृद्धि और उसके प्रभाव के बारे मे आर्टिकल लिखवाया गया जिसमे सभी कक्षा के छात्र और छात्राओं ने भाग लिया। प्रातः कालीन प्रार्थना सभा मे प्राचार्य द्वारा जनसंख्या और उसके वृद्धि के प्रभाव के बारे मे संदेश दिया गया तथा जनसंख्या की समस्याओं पर प्रकाश डाला। पुस्तकालय शिक्षिका ने छत्रों से इस पर चार्ट बनवाया।

Earth Day Celebration

A Report

 

On the occasion Earth day the school's eco club celebrated it on 22nd of April. It is a day celebrated world wide to enhance and encourage the affection and liability toward the mother Earth. The members of eco club the students of class IX A gave a gripping presentation of the skit Global Warming  our dreadful future their though provoking slogans added glitter to the golden performances with beautiful message of conservation, protection and towards the earth and its fruitful giving and the terrible outcome of Global Warming. Global Warming is gradually stretching its arms with its strong grip on the beautiful bedding of earth. Day the temperature of earth is increasing due to the overwhelming production of green house gases through our activities. The rising temperature is resulting in deterioration of our environmental balance and adversely affecting us too. If it will continue to step up then the day is not far away. When the future generation is going to urge for fulfilling their needs. This whole description was well presented in an informative atmosphere enlighten the students towards this problem. In the end the teacher's message added one more step towards the welfare of mother earth globally.

प्रतिवेदन

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में 18 अप्रेल को विश्व विरासत दिवस के अवसर पर प्रार्थना सभा में कक्षा सातवीं ब के विध्यार्थियों ने सांस्कृतिक विरासत के प्रति जागरूकता का संदेश देते हुए कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किया|

कार्यक्रम का प्रारम्भ भारतीय स्मारक नामक स्वरचित कविता से किया गया था | तत्पशात संवादात्मक शैली में विश्व विरासत दिवस की पृष्ठभूमि व उद्देश्य को स्पष्ट किया गया तथा यूनेस्को की सूची में शामिल भारत 32 महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों के विषय में बताया गया | विश्व विरासत दिवस 2016 की थीम खेल है | विध्यार्थियों नें प्राचीन भारतीय खेल परंपरा और विश्व प्रसिद्ध भारतीय खेल जैसे मार्शल आर्ट्स, चेस, ताश, साँप-सीढ़ी, पोलो आदि की चित्रात्मक प्रस्तुति दी|

 

कार्यक्रम में एक ओर पुरातत्व स्थलों तथा स्मारकों के संरक्षण का संदेश था तो दूसरी ओर भारतीय खेलों के प्रति जागरूकता लाने का प्रयास |

WORLD HEALTH DAY

DATE – 07/04/2016

The Class on Duty (VII A) and the Health & Wellness Club of the Vidyalaya celebrated the World Health Day on 07/04/2016 in the Morning Assembly.  Morning Assembly started with the thought  “Good health and good sense are two of life’s greatest blessings”. A skit on Human Food was presented by the students of Class VII A. The skit included the importance of food in our life such as for study, play and work. Different categories of food like Energy giving food, Body building food etc. were also described briefly in the skit.

 

A Poster Making Programme was organized later in the day for the students of secondary classes, where in they made posters related to healthy food, different food types, healthy habits related to good health. The posters were then displayed in the First Aid Room of the Vidyalaya.
