केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में तीन दिवसीय बाल उत्सव का आयोजन

हर वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी केन्द्रीय विद्यालय महू में चाचा नेहरु के जन्म दिवस के अवसर पर तीन दिवसीय बाल उत्सव दिनांक 15.11.16 से 17.11.16 तक बडे हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया।

दिनांक 15.11.16 को कब-बुलबुल उत्सव की शुरुआत विद्यालय प्राचार्य श्रीमती किरण अवस्थी के मुख्य आतिथ्य में भारत स्काउट गाइड के ध्वजारोहण के साथ हुई। और यहाँ पर बुलबुल गीत की प्रस्तुति देकर अतिथि का स्वागत किया। प्राथमिक विभाग की प्रधान अध्यापिका श्रीमती डी0 ई0 इसियास के द्वारा पुष्प गुच्छ प्रदान कर प्राचार्य महोदया का स्वागत किया गया। कब-बुलबुल उत्सव के अन्तर्गत चित्रकला, नारा लेखन प्रतियोगिता एवं पिरामिड प्रदर्षन, पर्यावरण गीत प्रस्तुत किए गए। प्राचार्य महोदया ने कब-बुलबुल के कार्यो एवं प्रदर्षन की सराहना करते हुए हमेशा मिल जुलकर कार्य करने की प्रेरणा दी। कार्यक्रम के अंत में छात्र-छात्राओं को स्वल्पाहार एवं पुरस्कार वितरित किये गये।

दिनांक 16.11.16 को रंगारंग सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रतियोगिताओं के रुप में आयोजित किये गये। जिसमें समूह नृत्य, भजन व विविध वेशभूषा प्रतियोगिताएँ संपन्न हुई। विभिन्न वेशभूषाओं के माध्यम से छात्र-छात्राओं ने दर्शकों को आंनदित किया। भोजपुरी पंजाबी  राजस्थानी व मध्य प्रदेष के लोकनृत्यों ने समा बांध दिया। एकल गायन के अंतर्गत छात्र-छात्राओं ने अपनी मधुर आवाज में भजन प्रस्तुत किये। प्राचार्य महोदया ने छात्र-छात्राओं के उत्साह एवं आत्मविश्वास  के साथ दी गई प्रस्तुतियों की सराहना की। उन्होंने इस बात कि खुशी व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि केन्द्रीय विद्यालय संगठन वास्तविक रुप में छात्र-छात्राओं का सर्वांगीण विकास का उद्देश्य  पूरा कर रहा है।

दिनांक 17.11.2016 को खेलकूद प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें प्राथमिक विभाग के छात्र छात्राओं ने बढ चढकर भाग लिया। इस दिन के कार्यक्रम में सेक रेस लेमन रेस जलेबी रेस रस्सी कूद एवं रिले रेस में छात्र-छात्राओं ने अपनी-अपनी शारीरिक क्षमता का प्रदशन  कर कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाया। जलेबी रेस और सेक रेस आकर्षण का केन्द्र बने रहे। मिल जुलकर कार्य करने का प्रदर्षन छात्र-छात्राओं ने रिले रेस के दौरान किया।

बाल उत्सव के अन्तर्गत तीनों दिन विद्यालय की ओर से प्राथमिक विभाग के छात्र-छात्राओं को स्वल्पाहार दिया गया। तीन दिवसीय कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्रीमती दीपा चुग के द्वारा किया गया। इसमेें प्राथमिक विभाग के शिक्षक शिक्षिकाओं ने छात्र-छात्राओं का उचित मार्गदर्षन किया। विद्यालय की मुख्य अध्यापिका श्रीमती डी0 ई0 इसियास ने आभार प्रदर्षन करते हुए विद्यालय के शिक्षक शिक्षिकाओं एवं छात्रों को कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन की बधाई दी।

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA MHOW

REPORT ON CMP MEETING

SESSION:2016-17                                           DATE:24/09/2016

Indore cluster CMP workshop was held on 24/09/2016 at K.V.Mhow. Twelve vidyalayas of Indore cluster participated in this workshop. The programme started with the lightening of lamp and offering garland to Goddess Saraswati. After that all the Principals were welcomed with bouquets by Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal , K.V.Mhow. This was followed by the welcome song “Rang biranga din hai suhana” sung by the tiny tots. A welcome speech was given by Mrs. Kiran Awasthi in which she threw light on the mottos of CMP and insisted all the teachers to carry out sincere efforts to make CMP successful.

PRESENTATIONS

Mrs. Rupali Yadav , H.M.K.V.No.2, BSF, Indore gave her presentation on “Class supervision in the light of workshop held at ZIET, Gwalior”.

Shri P.N.Mehra , PRT, K.V.No.1 Indore, gave his presentation on the utilization of Saturdays.

Both the presentations were fruitful for effective teaching and learning.

FA-4 ACTIVITY: EVALUATION AND RECORD KEEPING

Language (Hindi and English)

Presentations were given on Student’s speech on any topic, story development, picture composition, story telling, Dramatization and Story with MCQ. All the presentations were nicely presented.

Mathematics -

Presentations were given on data handling, Maths lab activity and puzzles. All the presentations were knowledgeable and interesting.

EVS -

Presentations on Map work, Student’s presentation on any topic and MCQs were nicely presented.

After all the presentations, Mrs. Kiran Mishra ,Principal,K.V.Dewas, gave Commissioner’s views on learning outcomes in all the subjects.

Shri A.K. Singh, Vice Principal, K.V.Ratlam expressed his views on personality development of students by reading Newspaper and watching News on Television.

Shri A.K.Pandey , Principal, K.V. Ujjain focused on “I am  a winner, Success follows me”. He emphasized on the given points:

  • Come down to the level of children and have patience in teaching .
  • Standard of question paper should be good.
  • Evaluation should not be only up to putting tick marks.
  • Let the children learn at their own pace without any stress.
  • Try to make learning joyful.
  • FA 2/FA 4 should not be like any other pen/paper test.
  • It is teachers responsibility to show belongingness towards children.

Incharge  Principal – K.V. Mandsaur : Expressed his views on proper development of competencies like Computation, Problem Solving Abilities in maths, So that they will not face problem in higher Classes.

 

Mrs Neelam Malviya  - Principal K.V.No.2 . BSF , Indore : Focused on learning outcomes given by NCERT in all Subjects.

 

The Suggestions given in the previous CMP Meeting are being successfully followed by all the teachers and all the CMP  activities are nicely going on in all the KVs of Indore Cluster.

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA MHOW

CMP MEETING REPORT

SESSION 2016-17

Common minimum programme(CMP) for qualitative improvement of the primary education is getting desired attention by all the vidyalayas. To have uniformity in the cluster, a specific schedule is given to all KVs to organize CMP meetings. KV Mhow got an opportunity to organize such meeting.

Indore cluster CMP Workshop was held at K.V Mhow on 7.5.2016. Twelve vidyalayas of Indore cluster participated in this workshop.

Program started with a melodious welcome song sung by the students of K.V Mhow. After that, Mrs. K.Awasthi, Principal, K.V Mhow, greeted all the Principals from different KVs through bouquets. Then, a welcome speech was given by Mrs. K.Awasthi. She threw light on the mottos of CMP and afterwards, insisted all the teachers to carry out sincere efforts to make CMP successful. She emphasized on implementing new ideas and sharing thoughts to achieve excellence in conduction of CMP. Moreover, she also discussed about the difficulties faced by teachers in the context of spoken English.

First agenda of the workshop was presentation of FA-2 activities by different Vidyalayas. Subject-wise activities were allotted already to every Vidyalaya. FA-2 activity presentation was started with Maths activity .

MATHS FA-2 ACTIVITY

Puzzles for class-V were presented by K.V No.2 B.S.F, Indore. A demonstration of Maths lab activity was shown through ppt by K.V Mhow. A joyful and creative activity on data handling through ppt was presented by K.V Ratlam.

Towards the end, Smt. V. Malviya, Principal, K.V No.2 B.S.F, Indore, summarized the FA-2 presentation. She pinpointed the basic weaknesses in current teaching learning process and emphasized on proper teaching of basic concepts in Mathematics.

ENGLISH FA-2 ACTIVITY

Under this, a dramatization activity was presented by K.V Jhabua. Listening skill activity was presented by K.V Dhar through ppt. Story-telling activity for class III was nicely presented by K.V No.1, Indore(2nd shift) through ppt.

Mrs. Shraddha Jha, Principal, K.V Dhar summed up this session by giving various suggestions, with focus on improvement in reading skills.

EVS FA-2 ACTIVITY

Map reading activity for class III was presented through ppt by K.V Dewas. Map-marking activity for class IV was presented by K.V Mandsaur. MCQ worksheets for class V were displayed by K.V Neemuch.

Summing up this session, Mr. Dhote, Principal, K.V.Barwani said that teacher is an architect who plans different activities to develop scientific temper in children.Mrs. K Awasthi mentioned some techniques to correlate science teaching with our daily life situations.

HINDI FA-2 ACTIVITY

कक्षा पाँचवीं हेतु चित्र देखकर कहानी लिखने की गतिविधि के.वि उज्जैन द्वारा प्रस्तुत की गई| विभिन्न चित्रों के माध्यम से कहानी-विस्तार गतिविधि का प्रदर्शन के.वि क्रमांक.1, इंदौर द्वारा किया गया| के.वि बड़वानी द्वारा कक्षा तीन हेतु भाषण संबंधी गतिविधि की जानकारी दी गई। हिंदी विषय की गतिविधियों के सम्बंध में श्री परमार, प्राचार्य के.वि रतलाम द्वारा मार्गदर्शन दिया गया। उन्होंने बच्चों में सकारात्मक सोच व कल्पन-शक्ति के विकास पर ज़ोर दिया|

SPOKEN ENGLISH FA-2 ACTIVITY

Second agenda of CMP was to improve efficiency in spoken English. Mrs. Kiran Mishra, K.V No.1, Indore expressed her views on this topic. As per her words, children of class I and II have less attention pan, so we should let them speak at least four to five simple sentences about themselves, their school and families etc. She suggested showing cartoon films to students for improving spoken English.

Lastly, she summed up with emphasis on development of vocabulary and spelling and suggested teachers to improve themselves at spoken English.

Towards the end of CMP workshop, two questionnaires, which were given to each school in order to collect information about CMP and spoken English proficiency (these questionnaires were distributed in the beginning of the workshop), were collected from all the Vidyalayas.

Finally, a vote of thanks was given by Smt. Rupali Yadav, H.M, K.V Mhow. She thanked all the participants for attending the programme and making it successful. She hoped that the ideas and knowledge shared by the participants in this meeting would be helpful in classroom interaction. This entire program was conducted successfully by Rajani Gupta, PRT, K.V Mhow.

 

REPORT ON WELCOME PROGRAMME

SESSION 2016-17

Under School Readiness Programme, a welcome programme was organized in K.V.Mhow , on 8th April 2016, to welcome all the students of class I, in order to make them familiar with the new environment.

The chief guest of the programme was Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal, K.V.Mhow with the bouquet. The chief guest inaugurated the programme by lightning the lamp and offering garland to Goddess Saraswati. This was followed with the excellent presentataion of Saraswati Vandana by tiny tots of primary section.

Under cultural programme, twinkling stars of class – II beautifully presented an action song “Honey-Honey”. This was followed by the Rajasthani dance performed by students of class – V. all the performances presented by small children drew admiration of one and all. Some students from class I, also showed their talent by reciting rhymes and telling stories. The little kids made the atmosphere cheerful and drew admiration of all by their performances. After that speech was given by our H>M>,in which she motivated the tiny tots to obey their parents as well as teachers and maintain good habits and discipline. At last, our Principal addressed small twinkling stars of Kndriya Vidyalaya Mhow, about its healthy atmosphere and discipline. She inspired them to adopt five good habits in the school i.e. to listen silently, to obey their teachers, not to cry, do their work in time and to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

The programme culminated with the distribution of caps, sweets and biscuits to the Tiny Tits. Vote of thanks was given by the H.M. , K.V. Mhow.

ENGLISH CALLIGRAPHY

Calligraphy is an art that anyone can do. Basically, calligraphy means writing beautifully. Calligraphy competition was organized in primary section of k.V. Mhow  on 21st April 2016, under the guidance of Mrs. Rupali Yadav, H.M.,K.V.Mhow,to encourage children to write neatly and present the content in proper manner. The main objective of this competition was to motivate children to write neatly, to complete the work in the given time and to make the children aware of correct formation of letters with curves.

All the students participated with full enthusiasm and showed excellent creative through their writing skills. The students were asked to write the given passage in the best of their handwriting. They were judged on the basis of nearness, formation and spacing.

The competition brought out the talent and creativity of the students. The importance of good handwriting was emphasized through the competition.

ENGLISH POEM RECITATION

English poem recitation competition was held on 13/07/2016. T his competition express the teacher hidden inside a student. During the competition it was observed that students prepared well for their level best. The themes selected by students were as per the level of k. v students and it was presented nicely. H.M Mrs. Rupali Yadav blessed children for their efforts.

ENGLISH SKIT

Skit competition do not only strengthens ones’ confidence to face the audience but also helps in developing awareness about our surroundings and daily happenings. Children learners are the best messengers to spread the awareness of the social as well as global issue and their voice leave an impact on ones’ mind.

English skit competition was organized in primary section of K.V.Mhow on 29th April 2016. The chief guest of the programme was Ms. Jhanjha Chakrawarty, PGT English. She was welcomed by Mrs. Rupali Yadav, H.M., K.V.Mhow.

All the four houses participated with great enthusiasm and they prepared skit on different issue like save trees, save water etc.  The way the students performed on stage was a sight to watch. It did not look like the competition was going on, in fact it appeared as if each one of them wanted to give some message.

Whole programme was conducted by CCA committee. Vote of thanks was given by CCA I/C Mr. Dinesh Patel.

MEMORY TEST

We depend on our memories for so many things in life, but sometimes our memory fails us. Many times we forget the things and are unable to recall them. This activity is intended to help the children understand human memory.

Memory test was conducted by the CCA committee on 4th April 2016 under the guidance of H.M. Mrs. Rupali Yadav. In this activity some times were displayed and the children were asked to observe the item carefully. After sometime, they were asked to write the names of the displayed items without seeing them.

All the children participated in this activity and enjoyed it very much.

Mini Sports Meet

On 17th November Mini Sports Meet was organized and the Chief Guest was Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal, K.V.Mhow. Mrs. Rupali Yadav, H.M., K.V. Mhow welcomed the chief guest.

Events like 100m., 80m., 50m. races, Relay Race, Cricket and Throw Ball were the attractions of Sports Meet. Children took part with full enthusiasm. All the winners of the different events were awarded by the Principal with appreciation. After that snacks were distributed among children.

 

 

18th November

Cub Bulbul Utsav

Cub Bulbul Utsav was celebrated on 18th November. The Chief Guest of program was Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal, K.V. Mhow and Special Guest was H.M. Mrs. Rupali Yadav.

The guests participated in Flag Break activity. After that Kan (Snake) dance, Bulbul song, drawing competition and Knotty activity were performed.

Mini Cultural Program

After the Cub-Bulbul program a Mini Cultural Program was organized.  The Chief Guest of program was Mrs. Kiran Awasthi, Principal, K.V. Mhow. A warm welcome was given to the chief guest by Mrs. Rupali Yadav, H.M., K.V.Mhow. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Mrs. Kiran Awasthi. An invocation of Goddess Saraswati with Saraswati Vandana provided an auspicious beginning to the program. A house wise folk dance Competition was organized in colourful dresses . Children participated with great zeal. Group Songs (folk) were presented house wise by the children. In the end Prize distribution ceremony was organized and prizes were given by the H.M. Mrs. Rupali Yadav. Vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Rupali Yadav, H.M. After that snacks were distributed to the students.
